Praise His NAME!

First let me say that you can and should train your heart to make a continual sacrifice of praise to God!

Repent by directing your heart toward God. Then find the energy you need by boasting in and praising the closeness of God and His attributes. Please note: this does not mean we are to boast in God with our mouth and have the internal praise in our heart being directed back toward us. 

It is common to praise ourselves in order to find the strength and energy we need to get through the day. You don't have to keep living that way! Repentance by heart-training can change that!

Heart-training helps you become what the Old Testament calls a "dwelling place for His name." By repentance your identity becomes what the Bible refers to as "called by His name." To do that you need to direct your heart toward God, draw near to Him, and let Him draw near to you. This website is for showing you how. The Heart-training is an important part of the process.  

Enter into His Courts with Praise!

When we draw near to God, the Bible says we need to " Enter His gates with thanksgiving And His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him, bless His name" (Psa. 100:4). It helps you enter with praise by learning to make a continual sacrifice of praise to God, "Through Him then, let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that give thanks to His name" (Heb. 13:15).

Introduction to the Verse Study

Below is a long list of verses that are included for your study. It is not my intention to interpret the implications of this study. I will let you do that. For me, this was one of the most interesting studies in the scripture that I have ever done.  Have fun. 

MAT 28:19 "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,

2CH 6:8 "But the Lord said to my father David, 'Because it was in your heart to build a house for My name, you did well that it was in your heart.

2CH 7:20 then I will uproot you from My land which I have given you, and this house which I have consecrated for My name I will cast out of My sight, and I will make it a proverb and a byword among all peoples.

2CH 14:11 Then Asa called to the Lord his God, and said, "Lord, there is no one besides Thee to help in the battle between the powerful and those who have no strength; so help us, O Lord our God, for we trust in Thee, and in Thy name have come against this multitude. MAR 9:38 John said to Him, "Teacher, we saw someone casting out demons in Your name, and we tried to hinder him because he was not following us."

LUK 10:17 And the seventy returned with joy, saying, "Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name."

EXO 20:7 "You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not leave him unpunished who takes His name in vain.

LEV 19:12 'And you shall not swear falsely by My name, so as to profane the name of your God; I am the Lord.

Yahweh: The 'covenant name' of God. It means, the 'I AM' who is trancendantly adequate to keep His covenant promise and be our 'I am' - where, He is our God, and we are His people.

Yahweh Shammah: The adequate 'I AM' who is there.

Yahweh Maccaddeshcem: The adequate 'I AM' who is your Sanctifier (Exodus 31:13)

Yahweh M'kaddish: The adequate 'I AM' who makes us holy.

Yahweh Tsidkenu: The adequate 'I AM' who is our righteousness and who is entirely just.

El Roi: The God who sees me.

Yahweh Rohi: The adequate 'I AM' who is our shepherd.

El Shaddai: The one who is Almighty to completely nourish, to satisfy, and to supply what I need. (This title is related to the Hebrew word for breast.)

Yahweh Nissi: The adequate 'I AM' who is our 'banner of victory that glistens'.

Yahweh Shalom: The adequate 'I AM' who is peace, full, complete, finished, and perfect.

Yahweh Adonai: The adequate 'I AM' who is and the one who reigns.

Yahweh Jireh: The adequate 'I AM' who provides and the one who sees before.

Yahweh Rophe: The adequate 'I AM' who is our healer.

Yahweh Sabbaoth: The Lord of Hosts; the adequate 'I AM' who is Lord, of the armies of heaven.

Adonai: The One who has ownership and rulership of everything that is.

Elohim: The One who is great, mighty, dreadful, and glorious.

El Olam - the everlasting God, unchanging, and a God of inexhaustible strength.

"--for you shall not worship any other god, for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God--" Exodus 34:14 (We get jealous because we can't get. God gets jealous because He can't give.)

"Glory in His holy name; Let the heart of those who seek the Lord be glad." 1 Chron. 16:10

"My soul shall make its boast in the Lord; the humble shall hear it and rejoice." Psalm 34:2
