This page is for talking you through the process of getting the free software that will let you look at the Acrobat Reader files. If I say things that you already know, just skip over that. It is not my intention to talk down to you. I just want to be able to cover all the bases. Also, please let me know if I say something that doesn't make sense.
Start by going back to the "Books and Materials." Once you are on that page use your arrow keys to scroll down until you see the statement on the right that says, "Go get Acrobat Reader - it is free." Click on that button and it should take you to a different web site where you can download the software required for reading the book files that I have.
Click where it says something like, "Download now." That will take you to another page. Be sure to click where it says, "Installation instructions" and print those out. They ask you for your name and e-mail address, but be sure to make the proper selection on the boxes below that so that you don't get a bunch of advertisements sent to you. It will tell you, "You have chosen to download a file from this location." Then it gives a file name. Write that name down. It will be "something.exe" just as an example.
After the download is complete, you will need to find the file that you just downloaded on you C: drive and double-click on it.
If you have trouble finding what I called the "something.exe" file on your computer. You may need to click on "Start" down in the lower left of you screen. Then click on "Find" and then "Files or Folders." In the white space where it says, "Named:" you will need to type in the name of the file you wrote down that you downloaded from the Adobe site. Hit enter and then it should tell you where it is.
When it finds it, you may be able to just double click on the file and get it installing at that point. I don't remember. If that doesn't work you will have to write down the path to the file and go to "my computer" and find it on the "C:" drive that way.
Once you find the file on your hard disk, double click on the file name and follow the instructions on your screen. Once the installation is complete you can come back to my web site and double click on the books you want copies of. They will then pop up on your screen and you will be able to print them after that.
Be sure you have plenty of paper and ink in your printer because some of the books are over 100 pages. I hope this helps.
